南韓陸戰隊參加蒙古聯合軍演

（中央社記者姜遠珍首爾2014年6月18日專電）南韓海軍陸戰隊將參加6月20日至7月1日，在蒙古國首都烏蘭巴托舉行的「可汗探索」（Khaan Quest）聯合軍事演習。

南韓聯合新聞通訊社報導，南韓擬派34名海軍陸戰隊和8名陸、海、空軍官兵，協助蒙古軍方演練人道援助、重災區重建等。

報導說，參與演訓的南韓海軍陸戰隊軍官表示，擬藉由這次跨國軍演，養成南韓部隊在世界各地都可執行戰鬥任務的技能。

報導指出，「可汗探索」源自2002年，起初是美國太平洋司令部和蒙古國軍方的聯合軍演，2006年起邀請多國參與。

演習由蒙古國主導，美國太平洋司令部提供支援，參與演訓的包括蒙古、南韓、美國、中國大陸、捷克、印尼等21國與地區共1200多名官士兵。
